PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION RULES
CARLING REWARDS


Counter Serve
  1. This promotion (”Promotion“) is run by The South African Breweries (Proprietary) Limited (”Promoter“) and is open to all persons of 18 years or older and resident in South Africa, except the employees and their immediate families of Promoter, Promoter’s advertising and promotion agencies, associated companies, and outlet owners and staff.
  2. These rules may be amended by notification at any time during the Promotion, and will be interpreted by Promoter only. Participation by all entrants (”Participants“) constitutes acceptance of these rules. Further, the Promoter reserves the right, on reasonable notice at any time, to terminate the Promotion in whole or in part, at any time, for reasonable cause, or to modify the Promotion in any way. The Promoter may also deem an entry to be void or invalid if it determines at its sole discretion that the entry is false or has undermined the integrity of the Promotion in any way.
  3. The Rewards Promotion begins on 1 October 2013 and ends on 18 January 2014, while the in-store promotion will run from 4 November 2013 until 31 December 2013.
  4. To enter the rewards program on their phone, consumers buy 1 of any Carling Black Label, start to accumulate points and win guaranteed rewards.
  5. There are instant prizes consumers can win in the participating outlets. To enter in store, participants must purchase 2 X any pack Carling Black Labels at a participating outlet to receive a scratch card. Consumers can scratch the card to see if they have won instant prizes. These prizes include 200 X Unique Codes for the Carling Black Label Rewards Programme, 2 X CBL T shirts, 48 X CBL 440ml free beer, 2 X CBL Back pack coolers.
  6. All the prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged for their cash value.
  7. Promoter may make media announcements / publications of the names / photographs of Winner/s, provided that any Winner/s may expressly elect to decline this. Promoter reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of any Winner/s to verify their eligibility.
  8. All Participants and Winners indemnify Promoter, its associated companies (directors, officers and employees) and agents, against any / all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from their participation in any way howsoever in this Competition.

IRD
  1.   4. Consumers in IRD’s will receive a loyalty entry card with their first purchase of Carling Black Label.
  5. Each card requires 5 x stamps to be completed. Every time they purchase one of the required cases on the card they will get a stamp. Once they have collected all the stamps on their loyalty card, they can enter it in the outlet and stand a chance to win merchandise kits for their outlet every Friday. A barker will go into the IRD’s for an hour every Friday to do the live draw and also push the promotion in that time. Customers will be contacted telephonically if they are not in the outlet.
  6. The prizes to be won by outlet owners include I) premium steel ice bucket and apron set (week 1), II) promo in a box kit comprising 100 X free codes for the Carling Black Label Rewards Programme, Pack 220 scratch cards, 24 X 340ml Carling Black Label Free Beer Code, 1 X A1 poster (week 2), III) fold up table & chair set (week 3 & 6) IV) champion chairs kit (set of 5 for 2 winners) (week 4 & 5).
  7. All the prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged for their cash value.

SPL

  5. To enter in store, participants must purchase a case of any pack Carling Black Label, or any Carling Black Label 12-pack, at a participating outlet. Consumers will then fill out an entry form and submit the entry in the Carling Black Label entry box.
  6. The prize to be won is a Carling Black Label mobile braai unit (1 per store). The draw will take place by 31 December 2013 and the winners will be contacted by telephone immediately thereafter.
  7. In order for consumer to redeem their prize, proof of purchase must be provided.
